Should you ask your friends and family to be your photographers on your wedding day?

Nearly everyone seems to carry along with them in everyday life, Whether it be on their mobile phone or as a separate small digital camera.  The convenience of having a high-quality camera on your phone, Has meant that there are many more pictures are being taken day then in the past, now everybody seems to love taking pictures and all becoming better at taking good photographs.

How can you harness this power for your wedding?
So you've invited 100 guests to your wedding, potentially you are armed with dozens of budding wedding photographers each covering different angles and moments of your day.  Yet it is not as simple as asking them all to take photographs as you will have to have a way of collating them altogether, even asking them all to email you their photos from today would just be impractical due to the sheer number of photographs and image sizes.
One of the best ways would be to find an online storage space for everybody to either email or upload their photographs.  There are many websites which enable you to do this  , each with their own pros and cons and way too many to mention in this article, but try searching for reviews on Tinypic, Flickern or photo bucket and expand your search from there.
Rather than asking your guests to upload all their photographs, ask them to just upload a selection of their best photographs from the day.  If you can afford to hire the services of a professional wedding photographer, then asking your friends and family to take photographs would still be a great addition to the wedding day.  Professional photographers know how to take great pictures and you will end up with a great selection of photographs from them alone, however they can't be everywhere and friends and families will take more humorous and fun photographs from more intimate moments of the day,  which is photographer could never re-create.
For a truly reportage and off the wall wedding photographic experience try asking your friends and family to be your photographers your wedding day.
